- Adobe® Acrobat® v8.0/9.0 for creation of signature boxes and/or signing
- Adobe® Reader® 8.0/9.0 for signing (PDF documents need to be prepared with LiveCycle® Reader® Extensions, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Extended or Acrobat® 3D 8.0)
- Windows® 2000 SP4, XP SP2/SP3, or Vista® (including Tablet PCs); Note: Acrobat 9 is not supported on Windows 2000
- Admin rights required for installation of Sign-it®
- Minimum 4 MB hard disk space

- A pen input device for signature capture
- Windows setup for microphone and speakers for voice signing
- SignatureOne® Profile Server setup for signature verification, stamps, and passwords
- To use the iKey™ 2032 with Sign-it, you'll need to download the iKey Driver and iKey 2032 Authentication Solution (MU20) from SafeNet, Inc. and install them on your system

Installation Procedures
Sign-it is an independent application plug-in for Adobe Acrobat and must be installed on the system of each user who will be signing or validating signed documents. You must be logged in as an Administrator to install Sign-it. Double-click on the SETUP.EXE file and follow the instructions on the screen. Select a Typical installation unless you need support for one of the following from the Custom Install:
Custom Install Option Description Ingenico™ Support for the Ingenico i6550 and i6780 Sign-it® Tools Utility to prepopulate a signature field in LiveCycle® Designer or other PDF creation utilities. Wacom® LCD Tablet Support for the Wacom LCD signature tablet Fingerprint Plugin Support for UPEK® TouchStrip® and TouchChip® models If you have multiple versions of Acrobat installed on your system, Sign-it will be installed on all the supported Acrobat versions.
Re-run the installer if you need to install components from the custom menu.
VeriFone MX870 Forms
The forms are located in C:\Program Files\CIC\Sign-it 7.01 Acrobat\VeriFone Forms. Refer to VeriFone's Form Manager Guide for instructions uploading the forms to the MX870 tablet.
Uninstalling Sign-it
- From the Windows Start menu, select Settings, Control Panel, then Add/Remove Programs.
- Select CIC Sign-it for Acrobat and click on the Remove button.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to uninstall Sign-it.
If you have multiple versions of Acrobat installed on your system, uninstalling Sign-it will uninstall it from all versions of Acrobat.
